| Wayne County Fire Department has made great progress in the past few years. All but two stations have been rebuilt and the last two are in progress or planned. Every Station has a new engine and at least one new Tanker per County beat. There are Four ISO grading districts with an ISO 8 rating, which puts most of our citizens in lower ratings and saves on Insurance premiums. This was no small task. It took a lot of good work by the members of the Department, the leadership of our Department, our Fire Coordinator and our Supervisors. So give them a pat on the back when you see one of them, they deserve it. |
