| 2007 was a great year for our department. There were several new stations built and several old stations upgraded to new three bay stations. There were three more new pumpers purchased and one new rescue truck. We got some more thermal cameras, rescue saws, radios and pagers, turnout gear and other equipment for our trucks. We had two districts go from a class 9 ISO rating to a class 8 and are making progress in getting two more districts get rated. We had several firefighter's from different stations get certified to Firefighter level 1 at the State Fire Academy and several to receive training and be certified with the National Registry of EMT's . We strive to be the best all Volunteer department in the State of Mississippi, and will continue to do so in 2008. |
